TB Caravan
A total of 154 individuals in the municipality of Cabagan availed of the free medical services offered by the Tuberculosis (TB) Caravan implemented by the Department of Health Regional Office 2 in partnership with Lgu Cabagan– RHU Cabagan, Pho Isabela, RCG Mobile Clinic, and Philippine Business for Social Progress.This activity aims to; (a) screen households, work areas, and congregate settings for TB; (b) find or locate missing TB cases; and increase TB case detection/notification rate.
According to Ms Joy Sabalboro, National Tuberculosis Program Coordinator of RHU Cabagan and Dr. Rich Mark T. Conag, the assigned DTTB on the said municipality, 154 beneficiaries underwent Chest X-ray examination. Of which, 72 individuals were further collected with sputums or specimens for Gene-Xpert examination, a cartridge based nucleic acid amplification test which is widely accepted in diagnosingTuberculosis. Official result of the afore-mentioned examinations were released 2-3 days after the tests and those infected individual/s was already referred and enrolled to NTP Program.The TB Caravan activity was implemented in observance of the World Tuberculosis Day celebrated on March 24, 2022 with the theme “Invest to end TB. Save lives”.

Operation Tuli
𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗧𝗨𝗟𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 | Ang Local Government Unit of Cabagan ( Lgu Cabagan ) sa pamumuno ng ating butihing Mayor, Atty. Christopher A. Mamauag at Cabagan Rural Health Unit sa pamumuno ng ating Municipal Health Officer, Dr. Viel M. Bagunu at DOH-DTTB, Dr. Rich Mark T. Conag ay nag-papasalamat sa matagumpay na Day 1 ng “𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗮-𝗬𝗮, 𝗕𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗻𝗮 𝘀𝗶 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘆, 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗹𝗶 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮” na ginanap sa Josefina T. Albano Sports and Cultural Complex, Cabagan, Isabela.Ang serbisyong ito ay taon-taon ginaganap para sa ating mga kabataang Cabagueño handog ng LGU Cabagan.
Mental Health Program
Barangay Health Workers and RHU Health Workers successfully finished their 3 Day Training on “𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙈𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙇𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙨” initiated by Medical Action Group and the Local Government Unit of Cabagan ( Lgu Cabagan ) through RHU Cabagan.
The aim of this 3 day training is to equip our local health workers/promoters, to enrich their mind in delivering and promoting rights-based mental health programs and services at the community level.We would like to thank everyone for making this activity possible most specially to our Municipal Mayor, Atty. Christopher A. Mamauag for the continued support. And also, to our partner, the Medical Action Group for choosing our municipality ( LGU Cabagan ) and RHU Cabagan headed by Dra. Viel M. Bagunu and Dr. Rich Mark T. Conag, to be your partner in promoting rights-based Mental Health here in the whole province of Isabela and also in Region 2.
